Genesis 21
1-2 Sarah pregnant in old age.
3 Son born to be named Issac.
4 Issac circumcised at eight days old.
5 Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born.
6-7 All will laugh with Sarah, for she had a baby in her old age.
8 Great feast for Issac.
10 Ishmael cast out!
12 God told Abraham to listen to Sarah.
12-13 Both sons will make great nations.
14-16 Hagar and Ishmael sent away with provisions.
17-21 Told to arise, for Ishmael will make a great nation.
22-24 Oath made by Abraham to Abimelech.
23-25 Quarrel between Abraham and Abimelech
26-31 Beersheba
30-36 Abraham plants a terebinth tree, and stays in the Philistine land many days.
Genesis Twenty-Two
1-2 God tests Abraham to see if any man would later do what He would have to do to His Son.
3-6 Prepare to make a human sacrifice.
7-8 Issac asks where the lamb is. Abraham says God will provide. Do we trust God to provide for us?
9-10 Abraham almost sacrifices his only son.
11-13 The Angel of God stops him. Have we ever been stopped by God before?
14 The Lord will provide.
15-18 Abraham rewarded for obedience! Are we rewarded for our obedience?

1-2 Sarah died at 127 years old.
3-18 Abraham buys a burial plot from the Sons of Heth.
19-20 Machpelah deeded to Abraham for burial plot.

17-18 Ishmael lived 137 years, and then he died in the presence of his family.
20-22 Rebekah was barren.
23 Foretells of two twins, Jacob & Esau. Esau meant hairy & Jacob meant supplanter.
27-28 Which parent loved which child the more?
29 Jacob cooked stew.
30 Esau asks for red stew & his name is changed to Edom.
31-34 Esau sells birthright to Jacob.
Genesis Twenty-Six
1 Famine in the land.
2-6 Issac is told by God to stay in Gerar.
7-11 The Great Lie
12-14 Issac became prosperous in the Philistine land.
16-19 Sent out of the Philistine land into the Valley of Gerar.
20-22 Quarrel over the well.
23-25 God comes to Issac at Beersheba.
26-31 Visitors come and make oath, leaving in peace after a banquet and a night's rest.
32-33 Well of Sheba, city of Beersheba.
34-35 Esau took wives, which caused much grief to his parents.

1-4 Issac told his older son, Esau, to catch him game and make him a savory stew.
