Who Can We Trust?

        Who can you trust? Can you put your trust in Money?  What about sports?  Maybe you think you can put your trust in Music?  Then what about trusting the television?  I know you think you can put your trust in the "In crowd", right?   The problem is that when you put your trust in these things, you may be and probably are putting your trust in tools of the Devil. In II Chronicles 32:10, we find that the king of Assyria is taunting the king of Jerusalem when he poses this question.  The question He poses in fact is "What do you trust?"  So the question I put before you now is, do you put your trust in God or Satan?  If you lay it in anything other than God, you lay your faith in Satan's hands.

         Christ said the following about those who would put their trust in riches (Mark 10:25): "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of  the needle than for the rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven."  In this case, I believe that the kingdom of heaven refers to the Church; nevertheless, no Church, no heaven.  On the other hand, all things are possible with God.  Mark 10:27 says, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."  

           So the bottom line is this: where does your faith lie in God or the Man?  To put it in another way, do you put your faith in God or Satan?  In Romans 1:17, it says, "The just shall live by faith."  So ask yourself  does your faith lay in Satan or God?  Joshua 24:15 answers it like this, "...But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord!"

Thunder Buys The Ol' General Store

                                                                  Thunder hung around at Casey's Ol' General Store as he always did.  Casey was an old goat who needed to sale the store and move on with his life.  So, he offered Thunder Senior the store for a grand $500.000 saying, "After all, Thunder you are here quite a bit of the time.  I might add you build up  business by being here too!  What I'm offering you is really a steal.  Baah!           Thunder just smiled and grabbed his debit card paying Casey $500,001 for the store.  Thunder  drank a root beer as they signed the contract.  (His sons Thunder & Lightening signed as witnesses.)
