                                         Exodus One 1-5 The household of  Israel in Egypt was 70. 6-7 They were fruitful and multiplied, filling the land with Israelites. 8-11 The new king over Egypt was afraid of the Israelites and made them slaves. 12     The more affliction was given, the more they multiplied. 13-14 The Israelites served with rigor. 15-16 The king of Egypt tells the midwives, "Kill the sons; let daughters live." 17      The midwives feared God and let the boys live. 18       The king wants to know why the baby boys were allowed to live. 19       The Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women; they do not need our help. 20-21  God dwelt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied. 22       The king commanded that every male infant be drowned, but every female...

                                                         Genesis Forty-One 1  At the end of two years Pharaoh had a dream. 2-4 Fat cows were eaten by thin, ugly cows. 5-7 A dream of heads of grain. 8    None could interpret dreams. 9-13 The butler recalls Joseph and tells of him and his dream interpretations. 14    Joseph was called for quickly. 15   Joseph was called the interpreter of dreams. 16   Joseph said It is of God, not of me. 17-24 Tell of dreams which none other could explain. 26-27 Two dreams are one: seven good years, seven years of famine. 28-36 Joseph tells Pharaoh to set the wisest over the land and set up a storehouse. 37-41 Joseph's word was found good, and he was set as ruler over all Egypt except for the throne. 42-44 Things done in praise of Joseph. 45-46  Joseph's name was ...
