Dream From Heaven

                                                       I dreamt I died last night

                                                      I died and went to heaven

                                          So the dream must have been heaven sent.


                                                       I saw no clouds to float upon

                                                       But all was bright and shinny

                                                          For this is God's Kingdom

                                                          There was no want or need


                                                                     I saw no tears

                                                              For all was happy there

                                                   They sang praises in worship to God

                                                                 For all eternity long.


                                                         The angels there sang a song,

                                                        A song the world could not sing

                                                          They sang "All Praises To Thee"

                                                        And made it sound quite worthy.


                                                           I saw four and twenty elders

                                                                 All asking how long

                                                           Then being told a little longer,

                                                          For with God there is no time.


                                                                      God had a globe

                                                                  It was His footstool,

                                                                   Through it He saw the earth.

                                                                    Through it He saw Hell.


                                                      God can see the hearts and minds of men

                                                               God sees those of  yours

                                                                He sees those of mine.

                                                         Sing praises to your God & King!

                                                           Thank God you live another day!

                                  Once upon a time in the Other Land lived a girl who did not believe in God, nor did she believe in the faith of the Church she went to.  She was just an active participant from the  fellowship she got from the congregation.  I might add that this kind of member pleased Satan.                                     The girl's name was Alice, and she went to services only for the pure enjoyment she  she could receive from it.  For Alice was out to please Alice and no one else.  This did not please God, but as I said earlier, did please Satan!    Satan had other workers in the Church who were there to please themselves as well.  God: however, was always hard at work sending His messengers to solve this  problem.                                   One day a new family moved into the Other Land who was most faithful and  true to God.  Their last name was Godhead, and they had a son about Alice's age named Harry.  Harry was good looking and was therefore

I Will Not Forget You

                             Isaiah 49:15 says, ".... Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you." Strongs says the word forget here means to mislay, to behold, to advise, from want of memory or  attention not all, forget, cause to forget.                            Joshua 1:5 says, " I will not leave you nor forsake you"   Strong's says here, "Commit  self. fail, forsake, fortify, help, leave destitute, leave off, refuse,                             In Joshua 2414-28 Joshua gives the Children of Israel the choice over serving God or  serving false gods.  Even after Even after warning them they say they say they will be true to  God, but as we know not long after Joshua's death the Children of Israel turn from God and forget Him. Luke 22:32 "...Strengthen Your Brethren."

                   To strengthen your brethren means to build one another up.  We are told this in Hebrews.  3:13.    Which comes from the Greek word parakaleo, meaning to call near, invite, invoke, (by  imploration, exhortation, or consultation) beseech, call for, (be of good) comfort, desire, exhort,  (given) exhortation, entreat, pray.                 According to Thayer's it is to call to one's side, call for summon, indicating the purpose.   Which may be done in a way of exhortation, entreaty, comfort, instruction.  A good example of this  is what I hear that one of the brothers in the church does daily that I go to when he sends out the  scriptures through text to certain individual's phones.  This type of thing strengthens the brethren.                The way we exhort one another today is done differently than in times past.  In times past they would live in tribal communes and things would be done afoot.  Today it is all done by phone, e-mail,  or social media, as
