Eccles' Stories

                        Jimmy & Thunder were celebrating due to the fact that Thunder had just gotten a letter signed by Dr Kroger (a psychiatrist, who was a red fox) making Thunder a certified Therapist.  Jimmy  worked down the street from where they were moving to @ the Pizza House.  With Thunder, however, he just assumed it would mean a richer clientele.  He did not realize the headaches the hills would  cause                           To begin with Jimmy and Thunder would have to change their mailing address.  Then  their utility companies would also have to have a change of address, but that was just minor stuff.  The  headaches would come from billing the poorer clientele who stayed with him that could not pay the  bills out of pocket.  So, Thunder had to get the government to pay the therapy bills for them.  Doctor  Kroger would have to teach him how to do that.                             The moving day finally came for Jimmy and Thunder.  Jimmy took the day off to help  Th

                The privilege of prayer is to speak personally to God.  It is spoken of in I Chronicles 29:10-15 when David gives praise to God.  "Blessed are You, Lord God of                                                          Israel, our Father, forever and ever.                                                           Yours Oh Lord, is the greatness,                                                            The power and the glory,                                                             The victory and the majesty;                                                              For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;                                                               Yours is the Kingdom, Oh Lord,                                                             And You are exalted as head overall.                                                            Now therefore, Our God,                                                            We thank You     

                           Somewhere in the future people will have powers beyond those which we have today.   Those powers are simply caused by pollution and were at first controlled by medication.  Medication  could not control these powers though but would at times cause death.  In some cases, these  medications would even enhance their powers.                             People were now running around with the ability to hear other people's thoughts.  Yet  other people would be able to move objects with the single thought of their mind.  Then there were  those who had their senses enhanced.                             There were a few lucky people who were not affected at all, but they were few and far  apart.  An old man who was unable to read minds told a person who had the power to see in to the  future, by the name of Chucky, that he wished he could read his mind, but could not due to his age.   Chucky told him that the ability to read minds was more of a curse than a bless

                         Once upon a time there was a merry ole rancher named John Eccles, who was nice to  everyone.  John was a man of God who hated all sin as well as all signs of evil.  His closest neighbor  lived upon a hill and was a witch who took in stray cats and dogs.                        John had recently lost his dog named Scruples and wanted to replace it.  He thought  long and hard about where to go.  He would have asked his closest neighbor Ezmerelda, but he knew  she was a witch, and the Bible strictly teaches against witches.  He was not even sure she would give  up one of her dogs anyway.  He did, however, realize she was a person who might help on  humanitarian reasons.                         So, John got in his pick-up truck and drove up the hill to her house.  He rang her Celtic musical doorbell, and she came running from her crystal ball.  She greeted John telling him to come in. She told him that she sensed him coming and baked him a cake.  She then told him,

                      Jimmy had a can of popcorn with pictures of Thunder and his friends pasted all over it.  To be nice Jimmy gave a few kernels of popcorn to Thunder.  Thunder liked the popcorn, and did not  know what (if anything) it would do to him, so he sat down and asked Jimmy for some more kernels.   Jimmy gave Thunder a few more kernels of popcorn, but not too many for he knew that popcorn was a  whole grain and would cause him to go to the potty.                     Later that afternoon Thunder drove over to see Doctor Kroger about this new type of food  which he had found that he loved so, which came out of a can.  He told Doctor Kroger there was three  types kept in this can: sweet, buttery, and cheesy.  Thunder furthermore said, "while the buttery and  cheesy are okay I prefer the sweet white balls."                        Doctor Kroger had to laugh at what Thunder had said for it was like listening to a child.                                If you choose to travel through time as is done by historians and theologians, as well  as anyone else who chooses to study history.  You must remember one key rule which is to simply  observe what you see and change nothing in the past.  For by changing one thing in the past may have  an effect on the future events of today.  To put it simple everything done in the past has a cause and  effect that will happen today.  An example of this is a tree that we seek shelter from today is from a  seed planted years ago.                               So even our clothing and hair style of today would look peculiar in the past and vice a versa is true.  Charles Daniels went back into the past and broke this rule when he fell in love with a  girl, and did more than just observe.  He dated the girl many times eventually impregnating her.  He  kept from raising the child by leaving and coming back to the present.  When doing research on his  family genealogy he found

               According to Strong's it means to shine or make manifest, especially by rays.  According to Thayer it is "extremely delicate, pure, subtle, brilliant quality of light.  Has led to the use of an appellation of God, as by nature incorporeal, spotless, holy..." Even so we are also to be to the world. (Matthew 5:14)                 We should start letting our light be seen as soon as we are baptized.  We should want to "preach the Gospel to every creature in the world."  (Mark 16:15) For by so doing some of the seed will fall on the good ground and become fertile.  (Matthew 13:8) The Apostle Paul took on this light as soon as he was converted to Christ. (Acts 22:1-21)                   Some will say it is not possible for an infant in Christ to take on such a role.  While others will say we are not all Apostle Paul's.  To that I say that we should all strive to be like the Apostle Paul, even as he was like Christ.  Then again, "if you have as
