Keys To Time Travel
If you choose to travel through time as is done by historians and theologians, as well
as anyone else who chooses to study history. You must remember one key rule which is to simply
observe what you see and change nothing in the past. For by changing one thing in the past may have
an effect on the future events of today. To put it simple everything done in the past has a cause and
effect that will happen today. An example of this is a tree that we seek shelter from today is from a
seed planted years ago.
So even our clothing and hair style of today would look peculiar in the past and vice a
versa is true. Charles Daniels went back into the past and broke this rule when he fell in love with a
girl, and did more than just observe. He dated the girl many times eventually impregnating her. He
kept from raising the child by leaving and coming back to the present. When doing research on his
family genealogy he found out that he was a descendant of himself. He only realized then that there
were reasons for the rules set up in time traveling, and if you messed around with them things could get
a little bit messy.
So, he decided anymore questions about the past to be left answered in books, and on
computers. He realized that time travel was best looking at the past to solve present problems, not
cause future ones. So, when Charley's son, Leon wanted to know why one of his ancestors looked so
much like Daddy. Charley just told him that DNA sometimes plays games like that.
Leon just told him that he was not familiar with a game called DNA. Charley just
turned to him and said, "You'll learn more about DNA as you get older." He then hurried Leon off to
bed since it was getting late. Other than that Charley did not want to answer any more questions
about their ancestor. He was hoping Leon would forget it all by morning.
It did not work out though, in the morning Leon had more questions. He in fact
added that someday he would travel back in time to meet the man in the picture. Charley just gave a
nervous little smile and said, "perhaps someday you will. Until then just remember to study the past,
get a grasp on the present, that you may know where the future will take you."
Leon did not know why he needed to know about the future, but figured maybe it
is a key to time travel. Leon knew that his dad used to do some time traveling for he had written books
on it. He also heard Charley mumble rules of time travel from time to time. Things that were called
environmental laws to time travel. Charley would say, "no one should break environmental laws of
time travel, but someone would."
Whenever Leon thought that Charley would spout off one of these keys he'd go
and write it down as a key statement to time travel. Leon was only twelve and could not do much
about it then, but some day he would use these key statements to travel through time. He had these key
statements almost laid out alphabetically. Starting with All things in their own time, not mine. These
keys then ended with Zulu plague May End All Time. When Charley asked about the Zulu Plague his
father just shrugged, and said, "that is for people of the future to explore. From what I understand we
may not even be around for the great Zulu plague. "
Charley then sighed and said, "If you are going to be a time traveler you need
to go to college like I did when you get older. You'll need to study the environment, history,
psychology, English, and other stuff."
To Leon this made little since. He just thought all you needed to know to be
a time traveler was reading, writing, and arithmetic. Then too there was the keys to time travel. So, he
did not understand what you needed to know all this other stuff for. Leon went on to school dreaming
about when he would be a time traveler. He had trouble keeping his mind on schoolwork when he was
thinking about time traveling. That and of course girls like any other healthy boy his age would do.
