Thunder Helps Smokey Run For President

 

                             As we open this story we find Thunder in a recliner, wearing a lavender robe, and 

smoking his pipe.   All of a sudden he receives a call on his cell phone.  Thunder picks up his cell phone

and says, "This is Thunder.  Who is this?  What is your purpose for calling?"

                             The voice on the other end said, "This is Smokey the Cat, and I would like a little 

financial help becoming the next president of the United States.  While you may question my ability to

become the next President of the United States, I figure it is about time that another animal other than 

the naked ape should run the country.  Since everyone else is throwing their hat into the race why not a

cat?   After all any animal could do better than the Republicans front runner Mr. Egotrip.  Or the 

incumbent who is really too old to run and is mentally incompetent to run the country. 

                            After hearing all of that Thunder had to agree and said he would have to talk it over

with Jimmy before sending any money.  He then asked for his phone number to get back in touch with 

him.  Smokey then gave him his number which was 1-800-555-1234.

                              Thunder then took a puff from his pipe, as he waited for Jimmy to come out of his

 study and into the living area. He definitely thought that having a cat run the country instead of a 

naked ape would change things in the country.  Though he always thought that a dog would run the 

country instead of a cat, but what did he know?  Of course, as Smoky had said in so many words "any 

species could beat the front runners of the country."

                             When Jimmy walked into the room, Thunder was found dressed in a tie.  This told. 

Jimmy that something was up, because Thunder only dressed up for a special occasion.  Therefore 

Jimmy went and got dressed up in his business suit figuring this would be logical.  He then came 

back, and asked Thunder what was up.  To which Thunder told him the subject was politics.

                           Thunder then goes into a discourse in which he says, "In the land of Virginia there 

lives this cat named Smokey, who wants to be president.  If he won, he would be the first cat in the 

United States to be president, but he needs some financial support.  I believe we should support him.

After all he would have a better mental stability than the naked ape in office (D).  On the other hand he 

does not have a ego the size that Mr. Egotrip has.  Then again almost everyone has thrown their hat into

the ring this year, with the exception of the two of us.  The cat is named Smokey and I think we should 

support him.

                           Jimmy shrugged his shoulders, and said, "give this cat from Virginia $500,000."

                           This made Thunder happy, and he used the Univeral Platinum Credit Card to send 

Smokey the money.  Smokey used the money to campaign with, and won the presidency of the United

States.  He chose Thunder as Vice-President of the United States
