Thunder's Birthday

                                                        The 25th day of May is the real Thunder's birthday                                                        so part of celebrating his birthdate I'm writing this  story.

                                                  It was eight O'clock in the morning when Thunder's butler,

                    Chucko  (the ape) came into the room serving Thunder breakfast in bed.  Thunder

                    asked, why he was being served breakfast in bed, and why at such a late hour?

                    Chucko told him, "that today was his birthday so they cleared his work schedule,"

                    and served him breakfast in bed.  

                                                     Thunder looked over his breakfast it was his favorites: an

                    all meats omlet, orange juice, and milk.  Thunder thought that looked good to him

                    and he woofed it right down.  Thunder then asked Chucko what was on his itinerary

                    for the day.  To which Chucko said, "At 10:00 you have a groomer go to the groomers.

                                                                               At 12: 00 you have lunch wherever you want to go.

                                                                               At    3:00 guests begin to come over for a 5:00 supper.

                                                                               Then at 7:00 PM tonight you start unwrapping your                                                                                      gifts."

                      Thunder thought having to wait all days to open gifts was a silly idea.  Still, going to 

Gilda's Grooming and Spa sounded like a good idea.  Gilda was a cool cat who owned several 

grooming salons.

                       At noon Chucko drove the nice, clean, Thunder to a hot dog restaurant.   Where Thunder 

got  a hot dog sandwich with relish on it, bar-b-q chips and a diet soda.  Chucko just had a hot dog

sandwich and a banana shake.  Then again Chucko was an ape so what do you expect? 

                        They then came back to the mansion to find that it had been all dressed up for Thunder's

tenth birthday.  Jimmy took Thunder aside and got him all dressed up in a tuxedo and a tie.  Thunder 

was not to impressed but understood the reason behind it.  Jimmy told him that birthday packages had 

been arriving for him since 10:00 AM non-stop.  Jimmy then got himself into a tuxedo and a tie.

                         At 3:00 O'clock Jimmy, Thunder, Chucko, and all the rest of the house were all lined up

to receive guests.  All the while more packages kept coming in from around the world.  I might add that 

the mail kept bringing bags of birthday cards instead of bags of bills.

                          The guests kept coming like there was no tomorrow.  Then at 5:00 PM the guest 

stopped coming and they had a  meal of steak and potatoes with a side salad and a birthday cake. Then 

they all had a diet soda to wash it down with.

                         Then at 7:00 PM Thunder started to unwrap his gifts.  Thunder found when you were 

  rich you would get gifts from all over the world.  Thunder got a walking stick all the way from China.

Which made him laugh as he said;" someone must of known my Moma's walking condition, and 

thought I might have carried the gene." 

                         At 10:00 O'clock he split the stuff up giving some of the stuff to charity.  He then went 

to bed as tomorrow was a brand-new day.

                                  Once upon a time in the Other Land lived a girl who did not believe in God, nor did she believe in the faith of the Church she went to.  She was just an active participant from the  fellowship she got from the congregation.  I might add that this kind of member pleased Satan.                                     The girl's name was Alice, and she went to services only for the pure enjoyment she  she could receive from it.  For Alice was out to please Alice and no one else.  This did not please God, but as I said earlier, did please Satan!    Satan had other workers in the Church who were there to please themselves as well.  God: however, was always hard at work sending His messengers to solve this  problem.      ...

Thunder Goes On Vacation

               One morning Thunder wakes up, and tells Maxine that they are going to take a vacation back  to  his homelands in the Woods in Indiana.  Maxine just says, "that is fine dear, but, you should have  checked to see if I had a tea, or any diplomatic duties first."                Thunder just hoed and hummed as he got dressed.  He then told Maxine, "anything like that  could be rearranged.  Furthermore you will have tea at the Woods."                  As they were walking to breakfast Maxine rolled her eyes.  She then addressed Thunder in a loving fashion and said, "Well dear, I am glad you have it all thought out, but where ever will we stay? You do have the twins to recall, or were they just staying here at the White House.                Thunder and his family by this time ...

In The End

                                              Charles went to a funeral in present time.  He saw there a whole cast of  characters he had not seen in a long time.  He wondered if the church psychologist would be there, and she was not.  Instead, his friend, daffy, old, retired, psychologist, Doctor Donald Dawk was  there.  Doctor Dawk talked briefly to Charles.                                   The funeral, of course, was for the relatives of the Westend's.  Old Mr. West- end had passed away peacefully in his sleep at 101 years of age.  He left behind many survivors, which included a wife named Betty.   Mister Westend had served in Germany in World War II.  The family of course was given military honors.   ...
