Danial Quint

                     U.N.O. Chemicals was a small company which took animals, and used them to test things

 on, for people to use.   Soon, however, the Animal Constitutional Lawyers Association (ACLA) had 

suited them for a total of $20,000,000 for abuse to animals.  This caused U.N.O. Chemicals to shut 

down, and give their animals away to their employees, or other people.

                     Danial Quint took a black pug home named Wok.   He was also given a headhunter to find 

him a job.   This made him depressed so he turned to his wife Stella and said, "What will I do?"

                       Stella Quint did what any wife would do and consoled him.   Then she yelled at him, and 

then more consoling.

                       One of Danial's major employment problems was that he was fifty-five?  Who would 

want to hire a fifty-five year old?  As he was looking for a job he got sent to apply at Pink 

Pharmaceuticals.  Their motto was "think pink."  As far as Dan was concerned this said nothing about 

the company.  

                     Matt Pink asked Dan what pink meant to him and Danial said happy.  Matt liked the 

answer, and added it to the motto.  So now the motto was "think pink and be happy".  However, Matt 

got passed over due to his age.

                    The very next week he got sent to a company in Alaska named Stexco.  Stexeco was a 

company which gave androids the ability to have sex, and feel other human emotions.  Stexeco did not 

feel Danial was a good candidate for the job once again because of his age.  Which to them would give 

him the lack of interest for their product.

                    The next week he was sent to Drugco.  Dan was excited about his job, but his age had him 

depressed.  He was asked what was wrong to which he said nothing really.  There was silence in the 

room as the Drugco computer thanked him for his time but said his triglycerides were too high.

                     In the middle of the Summer Dan was sent to Washington D.C., to be interviewed by the

 XYZ Corporation.  There he was at the brain of the company.  There he was at the brain of the 

company.  He was seated at the table with four women (all of whom thought they were to good for 

anything), and four men (all of who knew they were to good for anything).  They said "Well your..." 

Danial interrupted them with, before you complete that thought you have a table fool of witness' here.

                       At that one of the women said. "Everything will change in ten years.  So you are hired, be

 here to start work in one week."

                       As Dan walked out of the XYZ Corporation he was happy but recalled what Solomon

said.  "Nothing is new under the sun" Eccles 3 Solomon was not talking about technology, he was 

talking about human behavior, which is somewhat ape like.  So they both went back home to Kansas

the "Land of Tornadoes".

                        

  

                        One year later everything had changed.   For as it was now 2121, and Danial had started 

work in 2120.  In 2121 he went off to work when a bomb was planted near the XYZ nuclear power 

plant.  Where it all blew up except for a couple of buildings.  Those who were left were contracted out.

Danial was one of those people who was left, and was contracted out of Washington D.C.

                        Everyone was moved from Washington D.C. to Texas where the company's 

headquarters now was.  The training school of XYZ was in Texas, and it was there that Danial's fate 

would be decided.  There was four contracts up for grabs with his name on it.  They were: 1)Texas, at 

the XYZ building, 2.) Ireland, for the Green Tank plant 3.) Idaho, The Spud Plant, or 4) Indiana, at the 

Alpha plant.

                       Danial was given the Alpha contract in Indiana.  This was the contract Dan had wanted 

since Stella was originally from Indiana.  Of course, Stella & Wok enjoyed their warm walks in Texas 

in January with the pretty flowers.   The warm weather would have to be said good-bye to as they 

moved off to Pontiac, Indiana, where the job was.

                        He remained in Indiana for a year before XYZ Power sold off his part of the company.

They sold his part of the company off to Frogco.  When Danial came home and told Stella, she said,

"That was a short ten years."  

                       Dan was not sure what she meant and said, "Huh?"

                       So Stella replied, "Well your company said in ten years."

                       Dan just laughed at that as he added," they also promised that they also promised that I

 would retire from here.  Knock on wood."

                         As I already said Alpha sold his company due to downsizing.  So Frogco sent him to

 Texas in time to get a house.  But instead of getting a house they were moved into a hotel with a 

theater in it, and later moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico.  It was here that Dan worked for Light Speed 

Computers.

                       Light Speed Computers had been successful in beaming a jack rabbit from Santa Fe to 

Albuquerque and back, but never a human,   Their best option was to try it on Mark Advent.  Mark 

was  on death row for the murder of his son.  He was told that if it worked he would get to live, but if it 

failed, well he was on death row any way.

                       Dan and his boss worked around the clock knowing who would be sent through next.  

Soon Mark Advent came to the plat form as news cameras watched from the other end.  Dan pulled the 

lever as the lights went from red=warning/radiation, to yellow=caution/about to send, to green and he 

was beamed to Alburquerque.  

                          Dan and his team had monthly meetings at Hugs Restaurant.   Sometimes the meetings

 were at breakfast, sometimes they were at lunch, and other times it was at supper.  They would talk

 about the projects how they were going in the past, present and future.  So all was happy until the 

death of Wok but that is another story.
